Lego Dodge Challenger!

Live your life a miniature quarter mile at a time? There’s a Lego kit for that…

Lego is almost universally well received on PH; look at the success of Carl Greartrix’s Caterham project, the response to Lego cars like the Chiron and the popularity of the bricks in the forum. So now Lego has embarked on a muscle car project… well, there was no way we could ignore it.

As part of a new campaign called Metamorphosis, Lego and Dodge have partnered on a new kit for the former’s Speed Champions range, featuring the Dodge Challenger Demon and the original Charger R/T. The set also includes drivers for the two cars, a race marshal to conduct your drag race, a lever-operated Christmas tree light plus a host of interchangeable parts for the Dodges. The Lego site says there are 478 pieces and it’s suitable for ages seven and upwards, so if you want the little ones involved they should be able to help. Or it could be kept just for you…

“We are thrilled to bring the exciting Dodge designs to a Lego build and play experience that is sure to capture the imaginations of not only Lego fans, but also car lovers and the passionate community of Dodge enthusiasts around the world,” said Chris Stamp, senior designer at Lego. We can certainly see it being popular!

The Metamorphosis advert is now live on Dodge’s YouTube channel and the kit is available to buy (but apparently in limited stock) immediately; seems a shame that it wasn’t available before Christmas, but if you if you’ve got some money burning a hole in your pocket then it costs £34.99. Something to make January a little brighter, isn’t it?
