In April 2019 Renault Increased Electric Car Sales By 64%

About 1 per 22 passenger cars Renault sold in Europe were all-electric in April.

Renault significantly increased its all-electric car sales in April. The preliminary numbers (excluding Twizy) amounted to 5,032 (up 64% year-over-year) and 19,016 YTD (up 38%).

  • Renault ZOE – 4,259 (up 65%) and 16,065 YTD (up 39%)
  • Renault Kangoo Z.E. – 758 (up 56%) and 2,843 YTD (up 26%)
  • Renault Master Z.E. – 15 (up 150%) and 108 YTD (up 1,700%)

Comparing ZOE sales to overall Renault passenger car sales, it turns out that BEVs account for almost 2.6% globally and 4.56% in Europe (where almost all Renault EVs are sold).
