Vehicles Affected: Approximately 120 model-year 2016-19 Dodge Grand Caravan vans modified by Vantage Mobility International
The Problem: The fuel pump gasket may deteriorate, allowing fuel to leak, which in the presence of an ignition source can increase the risk of a fire.
The Fix: Vantage will provide parts and reimbursement to owners for repair facilities to replace the fuel tank gasket for free.
What Owners Should Do: Vantage began notifying owners May 19. Owners can call the automaker at 800-488-9082, the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration’s vehicle-safety hotline at 888-327-4236 or visit its website to check their vehicle identification number and learn more.
