Audi continues its trend of Sportbacking all of the things, and this time, the E-Tron electric SUV gets its turn. The SUV doesn’t just look good — its improved aerodynamics also add to its range, according to the automaker. We got a closer look at the new 2020 model during the 2019 Los Angeles Auto Show.
The new E-Tron Sportback is Audi’s second fully electric production model after the E-Tron, which went on sale earlier this year. The new model is smaller than the original, wears more slippery, coupelike styling and has seats for five.
Two essential questions here: How much and how far? Audi says it’ll cost a bit more than the SUV version, though pricing isn’t out yet. As for range, the automaker released European specs but has yet to announce U.S. EPA estimates.
Watch the video for more, and stay tuned for more from the show, which opens its doors to the public today through Dec. 1.
