Vehicles Affected: Approximately 550 model-year 2020 BMW X6 SUVs
The Problem: The rear spoiler may detach, which can become a road hazard while driving, increasing the risk of a crash.
The Fix: Dealers will inspect and replace the rear spoiler, as necessary, for free.
What Owners Should Do: BMW will begin notifying owners April 13. BMW owners can call the automaker at 800-525-7417, the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration’s vehicle-safety hotline at 888-327-4236 or visit its website to check their vehicle identification number and learn more.
