Dodge has announced pricing for the 2021 Durango SUV, which receives exterior and interior updates as well as an all-new SRT Hellcat version. Price changes from the 2020 model vary significantly, with sub-$1,000 increases for the SXT, GT and R/T, nearly $5,000 increases for the Citadel (thanks to additional standard luxury features compared to the 2020) and no increase for the SRT 392. The new SRT Hellcat tops the lineup, costing more than $82,000 — some $18,000 more than the SRT 392.

New Prices
Most trim levels of the Durango are available with either rear-wheel drive or all-wheel drive, except for the AWD-only SRT and SRT Hellcat. Adding AWD will cost an additional $2,600, the same as it did for the 2020 Durango. All prices listed include a $1,495 destination fee, also unchanged from 2020:
- 2021 Durango SXT RWD: $33,260 ($970 increase)
- 2021 Durango GT RWD: $37,460 ($970 increase)
- 2021 Durango R/T RWD: $46,800 ($910 increase)
- 2021 Durango Citadel RWD: $49,300 ($4,810 increase)
- 2021 Durango SRT 392: $64,490 (no change)
- 2021 Durango SRT Hellcat: $82,490
The AWD Durango R/T ($49,400) is also available with a new Tow N Go package. Costing an additional $4,995 and bringing the price to $54,395, the package improves the R/T’s towing capacity from 7,400 pounds to 8,700 (same as the SRT 392 and Hellcat) and adds larger brakes, a performance exhaust, additional drive modes and more menacing looks while increasing the Durango R/T’s top speed to 145 mph.
New Hellcat
In its apparent quest to either outfit every vehicle in its lineup with a Hellcat engine or discontinue it (RIP, Journey and Grand Caravan … sorta), Dodge is making a limited number of 2021 Durango SRT Hellcats. The Durango version is powered by a 710-horsepower, supercharged 6.2-liter V-8, and is priced just under $7,000 less than the Hellcat-powered 2021 Jeep Grand Cherokee Trackhawk. Bonus: It nets you 3 additional horsepower and an extra row of seats.
New Looks, New Interior
The 2021 Durango gets styling that’s more in line with the Charger and Challenger inside and out. Most significantly, it’s now available with a 10.1-inch touchscreen display — standard on R/T, Citadel, SRT 392 and SRT Hellcat and optional on the SXT and GT. That display also comes with Uconnect 5, the latest and fastest version of Uconnect that also allows for over-the-air updates.
Release Date
Ordering is open for all but the SRT Hellcat, and deliveries for those models are “scheduled to begin later this year.” SRT Hellcat buyers can place orders starting in the fall with deliveries expected early in 2021. The Hellcat will be a 2021-only model and, thanks to the current state of the world, production is expected to be limited to roughly 2,000 units, so if you want one, be sure to get your order in early.
