Today Bentley announced the coming V8 versions of the Continental GT and GT Convertible. It’s a new-generation engine, configured as a “Hot-V,” meaning the intake is outside of the V and the exhaust exits inside it, where two, twin-scroll turbochargers are mounted, ready to spool up nice and fast and help the 4.0-liter produce a peak 542 hp and 568 lb-ft of torque. That’s 84 hp and 96 lb-ft fewer, respectively, than the W12, which is already available in the 2019 Continental GT.
