Mini has teased the all-new Cooper SE 2020 electric car ahead of its launch next month. Ahead of the new Cooper SE launch on July 9th, Mini has hyped the EV with a new teaser video. In the clip called Mini Electric | Transforming City Life’ the clip shows a number of classic Mini vehicles and the new electric car. The new teaser doesn’t show much more of the car than what we have previously seen before.

The concept version of the car has been teased and shown a number of times over the past year including at Goodwood Festival of Speed 2018.
It seems to retain a lot of the design language seen on the concept car including the modified, blocked-out grille and new EV badging.
It also features the two-colour grey and yellow colour scheme and awesome new alloy wheels.
The new car is expected to go on sale in 2020 and could be a real hit for the carmaker down the line as the Mini brand carries some heritage prestige.
Last month the carmaker released a video showing the car being produced at its Oxford plant and showing cars roll off the production line.
Large areas of the car including the wing mirrors, bumper, bonnet, grille, side sills, and rear end have been camouflaged.
The vehicle is expected to have similar specs to the BMW i3, produced by its parent company.
If this is the case it would be powered by a 34kWh battery which could produce around 120-miles of range on a single charge.
However, no official specs for the vehicle have yet to be confirmed or released and will likely be detailed on July 9th when the car launches.
2019 is a significant year for the British carmaker.
This year marks 60 years since the first Mini rolled off the lines at Oxford and 50 years since The Italian Job premiered in London in June 1969.
