Ah, winter in the northern states. It brings cooler temps, sheets of ice and armies of snow plows from whatever local municipality you happen to be in.
Here we have the Minnesota Department of Transportation and its team working the snow plows beautifully, like a squad of synchronized swimmers. Watch how they stay in formation across the highway, with plow passing to plow passing to the shoulder. This footage is sped up, by the way — they're probably at about 20 mph.
It's efficient, it's hypnotic and it sort of makes us want to ride along in that gang of mega-duty trucks. We in the Snow Belt salute you.
