With its swooping coupé-inspired design and a range of striking colours, the Toyota C-HR certainly stands out in a crowded SUV market. But there are perhaps those who want to stand out just that little bit more, and for those people Toyota has released the Neon Lime limited edition for the European market.
As the name suggests, the car is slathered in a vibrant Neon Lime paint that is reminiscent of the solar-reflective Thermo-Tec Lime Green used on the current Prius. The retina-searing hue is paired to a contrasting black roof, LED headlights and matte black 18-inch alloy wheels (in a similar design to the 17-inch rollers introduced on the Malaysian-market model this year).
Inside, you’ll find exclusive black leather and Alcantara upholstery, along with a nine-speaker JBL sound system. The Neon Lime is only available in Hybrid trim, which pairs a 122 PS/142 Nm 1.8 litre Atkinson-cycle VVT-i engine with a pair of electric motors to deliver combined fuel consumption of 3.8 litres per 100 km.
Just 2,000 units will be built, each one coming with a 360º JBL Music Experience Pack. This adds a set of JBL speakers and headphones, along with a six-month subscription to the Deezer music streaming service.
