Thanks to the swappable battery pack, users will not be required to park at the charging stations
Usain Bolt, a Jamaican retired sprinter, unveiled at the Viva Technology conference in Paris, France an interesting new all-electric tiny two-seat B-Nano. It’s very small (up to 4 B-Nano can park in one full-size parking space) with a 1+1 layout like in Renault Twizy.
The B-Nano was designed for car sharing in cities with a driving profile of between 2-15 miles. The unique feature of the B-Nano is the easily swappable battery, so the staff would be able to swap batteries wherever the cars are parked, instead of re-parking them or building charging stations.
Car sharing
Bolt Mobility was already engaged in shared electric scooters, deploying the fleet in Paris.
The Bolt B-Nano could become reality next year.
