The Fisker Karma might be one of the most exciting and best-looking sedans of the last decade. That said, these weren’t exactly a common sight on public streets. Here’s your chance to fix that, at least in your town, with this 2012 Fisker Karma EcoSport. The Karma was Fisker’s attempt at launching a more environmentally friendly luxury machine and packs a plug-in hybrid system under its skin. Of course, this short-lived company didn’t take off like its electric competition.
This Fisker Karma shows over 44,000 miles, and the listing notes the car’s second owner is responsible for roughly 34,000 of those miles. That means that this Karma’s 2.0-liter inline-four-cylinder engine should have plenty of life left to enjoy. That said, the hybrid system’s 20.1-kWh battery could be nearly a decade old, which could mean it will be due for replacement soon. This Karma was also in a minor fender bender in 2017 that appears to have been repaired.
The Karma interior might be one of the strangest you’ll see in a car of the era. It features a solid amount of wear on the soft materials, but it seems like everything else is intact. Most importantly, this Karma could use some big-time detail work.
While this Karma originally would have set you back over $100,000, this one likely won’t come close to the original sticker. As these cars continue to age and depreciate, they could become cult classics. Cars like this could also become fodder for a wild project for an ambitious DIYer.
