Op-Ed: We Debunk Tesla Cybertruck Myths – Safety, Towing, Weight, More

Despite the little official information, some of them just do not make any sense.

The Tesla Cybertruck sparked a lot of controversies since its official unveiling. Some love it – allegedly more than 500,000 reservation holders – and some hate it. But the worst part relates to the people that jumped into conclusions based solely on the looks and the little information Elon Musk provided at the occasion. These things turned into myths that impoverish any serious discussion about the electric pickup truck. It’s time to debunk them.

If you think we have access to privileged information on the Cybertruck, remember Tesla does not talk to the press, and we are no digital influencers ready to praise anything Musk decides to do. Debunking these myths requires just some knowledge and basic reasoning, which is not that hard. Check our slides and see for yourself.

If you miss any myth that deserves to be shattered as the windows of the electric pickup truck – or even more – name it so that we can include it here. If you think this is enough, just remember to share this with your friends or enemies that still did not understand these things or simply refuse to do so. They may at least improve their arguments.
