Hot on the tails of the newly revealed Chevrolet Tahoe and Suburban comes our first glimpse of the upscale Cadillac Escalade variant of GM’s next-generation large SUV. That’s thanks to leaked photos shared on Allcarnews’s Instagram and Facebook accounts. It looks production ready; in fact, it’s shown at what looks like an assembly plant. The new Escalade should reach the market in early 2020 to do battle with the BMW X7, the Lincoln Navigator, and the Mercedes-Benz GLS-class.
LEAKED: 2021 Escalade 🤔 _____________________________________ [12/11/19] Cadillac’s Escalade for 2021 has been leaked and well.. the exterior is subjective… that’s all i’ll say. What i will point out is the side profile which is unfortunately still identical to the Tahoe & Suburbab albeit with a chrome bar on the bottom and chrome window frame trim. The rear gets full sized LED verticals taillights again now more integrated into the rear.⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ 🏁 @Allcarnews Spec Sheet: Powertrain wise there will be a carry over 6.2L 420HP+ V8 paired to a 10 speed auto gearbox. 🏁 ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ The front is big and loud but looks like a blown up XT6 with the massive single frame grille, split LED lights and…. i’ll put it out there now i’m not a fan. But.. and this is a BIG BUT, Cadillac has FINALLY gotten their own interior and what i mean by that is that it actually… and yes in a GM product, uses its own infotainment screen set up and layout. The design is lifted directly from the Escala concept’s interior with this massive dual tiered digital displays, finally a normal gear shifter, digital climate bar and leather and woods of the like. Stay tuned for more updates! ________________________________________ ACN EXTRA: Interior= good, Exterior= COME ON CADILLAC ________________________________________ Text by @allcarnews #Suburban #GM #Tahoe #Escalade #SUV #Chevy #silverado #V8 #Cadillac #tuner #carbon ||#powerful #performance #turbocharged #supercharged #advanced #SupercarsRevamped #Supercar #HyperCar #ItsWhiteNoise #carlifestyle #MadWhips #CupGang #Carstagram #BlackList #AmazingCars247 An #allcarnews post

The big Caddy looks quite nice, if you ask us. The Escalade will adopt the new corporate face that has been rolled out on the rest of the lineup. There’s also a strong resemblance to the XT6 SUV in the side profile, but the forward-canted C-pillar is an Escalade design element that carries over from the previous-generation model.

Inside, we see that Cadillac may have pulled off a fully digital gauge cluster and infotainment display combination, with the smaller of the two displays sort of overlapping the larger one, which was previewed by the Escala concept from 2016. As Allcarnews points out in its post, the fact that the Escalade will have a much different interior design than its Chevrolet counterparts is a step in the right direction to give the Cadillac a truly upscale look and feel.
We expect the Escalade, like the Tahoe and Suburban, to come equipped with an independent rear suspension when it launches sometime early next year. Powertrain options will also likely line up with the Chevys and include a 6.2-liter V-8 and possibly a new 3.0-liter turbo-diesel inline-six.
