Just a week after the McLaren Speedtail blew everyone’s minds, Aston Martin posted a few photos of its upcoming Valkyrie on Instagram seemingly to remind us it has a hypercar too. If that’s the case, well, message received. The Valkyrie looks as sci-fi as ever, especially in this wild two-tone paintjob.

These pictures give us our first look at the Valkryie without the carbon-fiber wheel covers shown on the silver prototype Aston released pictures of last summer. Those aerodynamic covers are optional, and not that these wheels don’t look great, we highly suggest Valkyrie customers spec them on their cars. Wheel covers are cool.
Taking inspiration from today’s #F1 race cars, Aston Martin Valkyrie features a reclined ‘feet up’ position, ensuring the driver feels at one with the car for the ultimate drive experience #BeautifulToDrive #AstonMartin #AstonMartinValkyrie

Aston has also now given us a great look at the Valkryie’s interior, including the race-car-esque display on the center of the steering wheel. It looks like a serious machine in here, with tons of carbon fiber, and minimal nods to practicality and comfort. It looks pretty much perfect.
Aston Martin will build 175 examples of the Valkyrie, including 25 track-only AMR Pro models. Customer deliveries should begin in either 2019 or 2020, and when that’s all wrapped up, Aston will start building its next mid-engine hybrid hypercar. Needless to say, we can’t wait.
