The 2019 Hyundai Elantra GT receives an N Line variant with various performance and design upgrades. It replaces the previous Elantra GT Sport.
N Line models receive a unique grille with a silver character line, as well as a lower front spoiler for improved aerodynamics. Special badging, blacked out side mirrors, unique 18-inch wheels, and a redesigned bumper fascia differentiate these models further. Inside, Hyundai has given the N Line touch to the leather sport seats, steering wheel, gearshift, and instrument cluster. Red stitching is another distinguishing trait.
This vehicle is the first N Line model Hyundai has introduced in the U.S. Focusing on new design details as well as powertrain and chassis tweaks, N Line vehicles provide less aggressive upgrades compared to full N vehicles such as the Veloster N.
The N Line receives new suspension and steering tuning, as well as revised powertrain mounts. For added refinement, Hyundai has installed larger front and rear brake rotors for the multi-link independent rear suspension. The engine remains the same as the old GT Sport: a 1.6-liter turbocharged four-cylinder with 201 hp and 195 lb-ft of torque. Buyers have the choice of a six-speed manual or a seven-speed dual-clutch transmission. Manual-equipped models feature upgraded Michelin Pilot Sport 4 225/40 R18 summer tires.
The 2019 Elantra GT N Line is now on sale. Prices start at $24,185 with the six-speed, and $25,285 with the dual-clutch transmission.
