Honda has launched the 2021 CB650R and CBR650R in India. The bikes are priced at Rs. 8.67 lakh and Rs. 8.88 lakh (ex-showroom, Haryana) respectively. Both bikes will be imported via the completely knock down (CKD) route.
The CB650R is a neo retro styled naked sportsbike featuring a circular LED headlamp. The bike is available in two colour options – Candy Chromosphere Red and Matte Gunpowder Black Metallic.
The CBR 650R is a fully-faired version of the roadster. It features a twin headlamp setup and comes in Grand Prix Red and Matte Gunpowder Black Metallic colour options. Both bikes get a 4-1 underside exhaust.
The bikes are powered by a 649cc, in-line 4-cylinder engine that puts out 86 BHP @ 12,000 rpm and 57.5 Nm @ 8,500 rpm. The engine is mated to a 6-speed gearbox via a slip and assist clutch.
Both bikes come equipped with Showa upside down fork suspension at the front and an adjustable monoshock with seven settings at the rear. Braking duties are handled by twin disc brakes with 4-piston callipers at the front and a single disc at the rear. Both bikes get Honda Selectable Torque Control (HSTC) and dual-channel ABS.
