The VW Tiguan will be launched on December 7, 2021.
Volkswagen has announced the start of production of the 2021 Tiguan. The SUV is being manufactured at the company’s Aurangabad facility.
The Tiguan is based on the MQB platform. For the 2021 model year, the SUV receives a few cosmetic updates, including a redesigned front fascia and bumper, L-shaped tail lights with the Tiguan lettering in the centre and newly designed 18-inch alloy wheels.
On the inside, the Tiguan comes equipped with an 8-inch touchscreen infotainment head-unit, 3-zone automatic climate control which can be controlled using the touchscreen, 8-way power-adjustable driver’s seat, a panoramic sunroof, ambient lighting and connected car features.
The Tiguan will now be available with a new 2.0-litre, turbo-petrol engine that puts out 187 BHP and 320 Nm. The engine will be paired with a 7-speed dual-clutch automatic transmission and an all-wheel-drive system.
