BMW has unveiled the 2022-iteration of its 4 Series Gran Coupe. The new four-door saloon will be positioned alongside the Coupe and Convertible models in the 4 Series line-up.
The new 4 Series Gran Coupe is based on the CLAR platform, which also underpins the new 3 Series. The 4 Series Gran Coupe is 143 mm longer, 25 mm wider and 53 mm taller than its previous iteration. The new model also has a longer wheelbase and an additional 39 litres of boot space.
In terms of styling, the new 4 Series Gran Coupe features a similar design to its 3 Series sibling. The car also features a large kidney grille at the front and BMW’s LED Laserlight headlamps. The new Gran Coupe also comes with frameless doors and darkened LED tail lights.
On the inside, the 2022 BMW 4 Series Gran Coupe comes with a 12.3-inch digital instrument cluster, 10.25-inch touchscreen head-unit system with the brand’s latest iDrive connectivity, sporty leather seats, panoramic sunroof and other features.
The higher M440i variant also features the ‘M Sport’ package, which offers additional M-specific elements. These include a rear spoiler, 19-inch alloy wheels, M Sport performance brakes, M Sport seatbelts, M steering wheel and a number of pre-set driving modes.
BMW will be offering the new 4 Series Gran Coupe with a range of petrol and diesel engine options.
