2025 Mercedes C-Class EV spied for the 1st time

The new Mercedes-Benz C-Class EV is expected to be unveiled by late-2024 or early-2025.

Following the introduction of the EQS & EQE models, Mercedes-Benz is now gearing up to add a new budget-friendly offering to its EV lineup. Ahead of its unveiling, the Mercedes-Benz C-Class EV has been spied testing for the first time on public roads.

The official name of the C-Class EV is yet to be disclosed. With earlier reports indicating that Mercedes-Benz will phase out the ‘EQ’ badge for its EVs by the end of 2024, the upcoming EV sedan could skip being called the EQC. The German carmaker is also yet to announce the new designation for its EV models.

The spy shots showcase a completely camouflaged EV, revealing little to no details of the upcoming C-Class EV. Reports though, state that the new EV will be underpinned by the new MMA (Mercedes-Benz Modular Architecture). This new platform will help the C-Class EV and all future models to incorporate technologies introduced in the EQXX.

While the specifications of the upcoming Mercedes-Benz C-Class EV are yet to be revealed, reports do suggest it could have a range of over 300 miles (480 km) on a single charge.
