The BMW 7-Series facelift has been spotted in India. The partially camouflaged test car was being transported on a flatbed.
The BMW 7-Series facelift was unveiled at the 2019 Detroit Auto Show. The updated model is 22 mm longer than the outgoing car. The car’s bonnet has also been raised by 50 mm and features a new twin kidney grille that is said to be 40% larger than before. The car features slim, twin-pod LED headlights and a new front bumper with revised intakes. The rear features slim LED tail lights with an LED light bar in between and chrome exhaust tips.
The interior of the new 7-Series looks identical to the current model. It comes with leather upholstery, touchscreen infotainment system with gesture control, 3-spoke multi-function steering wheel and a new digital instrument cluster.
In the international market, the new 7-Series is offered with a range of engine options including a 6.6-litre V12 with 577 BHP and 850 Nm of torque, a 4.4-litre V8 with 523 BHP and 750 Nm and a 3.0-litre, plug-in hybrid with 393 BHP and 715 Nm of torque. A 3.0-litre, 6-cylinder diesel engine is also available in three states of tune – 262 BHP and 620 Nm, 315 BHP and 680 Nm and 394 BHP and 760 Nm of torque.
