Yamaha has revealed the updated BS6-compliant FZ 25 and the FZS 25.
The new FZ 25 gets an LED headlamp with an LED daytime running light, a digital instrument cluster, side stand with an engine cut-off switch, multi-spoke alloy wheels, and a silver exhaust cover. The FZS 25 gets a larger windscreen and a brush guard.
The bike is powered by a BS6-compliant 249cc, single-cylinder engine that produces 20.5 BHP @ 8,000 rpm and 20.1 Nm @ 6,000 rpm. The engine is paired to a 5-speed gearbox. It gets a telescopic fork suspension at the front and a 7-step adjustable monoshock suspension at the rear. It gets a 282 mm disc brake at the front and a 220 mm disc brake at the rear and comes with dual-channel ABS. The FZ 25 weighs 153 kg.
The FZ 25 comes in two colours – Metallic Black and Racing Blue, while the FZS 25 comes in three colours – Patina Green, White-Vermillion and Dark Matt Blue.
