Citroen has taken the wraps off the C3 Aircross. The SUV will be the French brand’s third model for the Indian market. It will go on sale in H2 2023.
The Citroen C3 Aircross measures 4.3 meters in length, and its wheelbase is 2,671 mm. The SUV has a ground clearance of 200 mm and comes with a 511-litre boot (with the third row of seats removed).
The C3 Aircross has a gloss black panel on the front fascia, flanked by Citroen’s typical split headlamp design with Y-shaped LED daytime running lights. It also has a rectangular air dam with fog lamps on either side and a silver skid plate. The rear of the car looks quite similar to the smaller C3. The SUV rides on 4-spoke dual-tone alloy wheels.
On the interior, the C3 Aircross comes with three rows of seats. The last row can be folded or removed completely. The dashboard layout is similar to the C3 and features a 10.2-inch touchscreen infotainment system in the centre. The C3 Aircross does come with a digital instrument cluster and automatic climate control with roof-mounted rear AC vents.
Powering the C3 Aircross is a 1.2-litre turbo-petrol engine that makes 108 BHP and 190 Nm. Initially, the SUV will be available with a 6-speed manual transmission, while an automatic option will be introduced later.
