The eC3 could be positioned between the Tata Nexon EV and the Tiago EV.
Citroen has released a teaser of its first all-electric offering in India. The image also confirms that the C3-based EV will be called eC3.
According to media reports, the Citroen eC3 could be offered with a 30.2 kWh battery, powering a single electric motor. It is said to develop 84 BHP and 143 Nm. The eC3’s battery pack is expected to offer slightly more range compared to the Tiago EV which can over 315 km on a single charge.
Spy images suggest, the Citroen eC3 will use the same bodyshell as the standard C3, albeit with minor modifications. The car could get a blanked-out front grille and a charging port on the driver-side front fender.
The Citroen eC3 is likely to be unveiled in January 2023, with its market launch expected to be sometime around March next year. In terms of its pricing, the eC3 could be positioned between the Tata Nexon EV and the Tiago EV.
