Damon Motorcycles has teased its upcoming HyperFighter Colossus electric sportbike. The limited-edition model of the EV will be unveiled on January 5, at the 2022 Consumer Electronics Show.
The Damon HyperFighter Colossus is a performance-oriented electric motorcycle that has a claimed 197 BHP and over 200 Nm. It is said to be capable of reaching 100 km/h from a standstill in under 3 seconds and achieving a top speed of 273 km/h (170 mph).
The HyperFighter Colossus features a 20 kWh battery that can be charged up to 80% in 45 minutes using a DC fast charger. The electric motorcycle has an estimated range of around 235 km (146 miles).
Some of the other features of the Damon HyperFighter Colossus include 17-inch wheels, a single-sided swingarm, ABS, parking brake, traction control, ride modes and a reverse mode. The EV will be equipped with Damon’s Shift system that is capable of electronically changing the ergonomics of the motorcycle.
Damon will be making only 100 units of the HyperFighter Colossus for the international markets. The company has started accepting reservations as well.
