There’s a new lubricants player in town and it’s Dynamo Lubricants. The brand was officially launched in Malaysia yesterday, hosted by executive director Prakash Dhamala and attended by its current and prospective strategic partners from Australia, the Philippines, Nepal, Myanmar, Cambodia and Vietnam.
Dynamo Lubricants is billed as a producer and supplier of high quality oils and lubricants for automotive and industrial use. The company says that its products are proudly made in Malaysia and formulated with the latest in German and American additives, and that its mission is to exceed both the present and future expectations of its consumers and the industry.
The company’s aim is to penetrate South East Asia and South Asian markets, capitalising on the rising demand for automotive and industrial oils in the emerging economies. Dynamo says that it started off as a family-owned business in 1950 and the current people behind the brand are experienced energy trading professionals.
“We believe that Malaysia represents the ideal hub towards expansion and accomplishing Dynamo Lubricants’ mission throughout Asia. Our official launch represents a significant milestone for Dynamo Lubricants and will allow us to expand our footprint through strategic partnerships across South East Asia. Our high quality and exceptional value oils and lubricants are proudly manufactured in Malaysia, and we are looking forward towards earning greater market share across Malaysia’s automotive and industrial sectors,” said Dhamala.
For the automotive sector, Dynamo Lubricants sells engine oil, transmission oil and performance grease. For industrial applications, the company has engine oil, gear oil, hydraulic oil, transmission oils, specialty lubricants and industrial grease. The brand’s symbol is a rhino and its products are branded as Dyna.
For every litre of oil and lubricant sold, Dynamo Lubricants will allocate one US cent to help selected orphanages and needy schools across South East Asia and South Asia. The group says that it is focused on giving back to communities in Myanmar, Nepal, Vietnam, the Philippines and Malaysia.
