There’s a lot going on with today’s Find Of The Day, so let’s get right to it. What we have here is a 2013 MK6 Golf R. And this isn’t any Golf R. No, this one is far from stock. VWVortex member pedvw has put together quite the package.
To start, this R is putting over 370 horsepower to the wheels thanks to a United Motorsport Stage 2 tune. It can run E85 fuel, also courtesy of United Motorsports. There’s a host of Neuspeed performance bits under the hood, an upgraded clutch, lightened flywheel, and much more.
This R sits on B&G RS coilovers and rolls on Enkei RFP1 wheels wrapped in Sumitomo tires. There’s 2-piece ECS Tuning slotted and drilled rotors, ECS stainless steel brake lines, and Hawk Red brake pads.
The inside is pretty much stock; black leather seats, winter rubber, and summer carpet R mats. There’s also a P3 digital boost gauge in the front air vent.
But the most striking element on this R may very well be the widebody kit. Wrapping each wheel well is a Voomerman fender flare. With the lowered ride height and the wide alloys, the Golf R looks quite mean. Add in tinted DRLs and side markers, a rear hatch wing extension, blacked-out roof, and a carbon-fiber rear diffuser and this is one serious R.
The great thing with this car: the price. This tricked-out 377-horsepower widebody Golf R can be yours for only $21,900. Take a look at the ad in our classifieds, or see the car for your self in Wilmington, Delaware.
