The Gurkha costs Rs 40,000 more than the Mahindra Thar Diesel MT (Hard Top).
Force Motors has silently increased the prices of the Gurkha by Rs 40,000. The SUV now costs Rs. 14.49 lakh (ex-showroom).
At this price, the Force Gurkha is more expensive than its main rival, the Mahindra Thar. It costs Rs 40,000 more than the Thar Diesel MT (Hard Top).
While it is common for automakers to increase the prices of their models at the start of a new year, we’ve already witnessed a couple of prices hikes in the first three months alone. Prices of the Gurkha have been steadily increasing from Rs 13.59 lakh in September last year to Rs 14.10 lakh in January 2022.
The Gurkha has always been positioned a step above the equivalent Thar variant. Force Motors seems to have adopted the “low volume, high profit” strategy for its niche offering.
