Ford has launched the Endeavour facelift in India at prices starting at Rs. 28.19 lakh (ex-showroom). The SUV is available in three variants – 2.2 Titanium 4×2 MT, 2.2 Titanium+ 4×2 AT and 3.2 Titanium+ 4×4 AT.
The updated Ford Endeavour gets a revised triple-slat grille up front and HID headlamps with L-shaped LED daytime running lights. The SUV now comes with 18-inch dual-tone alloy wheels. Inside, it gets dual-tone interiors with beige upholstery. The centre console houses an 8-inch touchscreen infotainment system that has SYNC3 and navigation along with Android Auto and Apple CarPlay connectivity. It gets keyless entry, engine start/stop button, hands free power tail gate with anti-pinch sensor, 8-way power adjustable front seats, power fold 3rd-row seats, panoramic sunroof, semi-automatic parallel park assist and gear lever trim in chrome amongst others.
The new Endeavour is available with two diesel engine options. The 2.2-litre, 4-cylinder unit produces 158 BHP @ 3,200 rpm and 385 Nm @ 1,600-2,500 rpm. It comes paired with either a 6-speed manual or 6-speed automatic transmission. The 3.2-litre diesel engine is available only with the 6-speed automatic gearbox and has all-wheel drive. This engine produces 197 BHP @ 3,000 rpm and 470 Nm @ 1,750-2,500 rpm.
Standard safety features offered on the Endeavour include ABS with EBD, dual front, side and curtain airbags, ESC with Rollover Stability and traction control, hill launch assist, cruise control, automatic headlamps, rain sensing wipers, rear view camera and Tyre Pressure Monitoring System. The Titanium+ variants get a driver knee airbag, front parking sensors and electrochromic IRVM, while hill descent control is only available on the 4×4 variant.
The new Ford Endeavour is available in five colour options – Diffused Silver, Moondust Silver, Diamond White, Absolute Black and Sunset Red.
