For Aston Martin Valkyrie customers who are serious enough about track driving, there’s going to be an even more extreme ‘AMR Pro’ version of the hypercar. It’s not road legal, however, so what if you want the best of both worlds, without being so stinking rich you’ve been able to buy one of each? You need the AMR Track Performance Pack.
Fitting everything does result in a non-road legal car, but all of the bits and pieces are interchangeable with their road-friendly counterparts. See? Best of both worlds.
The package includes a new front clamshell that generates more downforce, along with a second set of all other panels, allowing you to give your Valkyrie two distinct finishes. You also get lightweight titanium brakes, a lower suspension setup, and magnesium ‘performance’ aero wheels. All of this amounts to eight per cent faster laps, so long as you’re a handy enough driver.
If you want, you can bundle in “Personalised pit garage and race suit accessory options,” just in case owning a Valkyrie doesn’t already show the world you’re the King of Track Days.
Track Performance Pack customers can also choose between three rather lovely liveries for their second set of panels: Spirit (Ethanol Silver with Caycous Orange accents), Mantis (Iridescent Emerald with a ‘Gold Pack), or Ultimate (exposed satin carbonfibre).
Alternatively, the ‘Q by Aston Martin’ department can cook up something to your own exacting specifications, or there’s always the option of Stirling Green with Lime stripes and accents if you want to pretend you’re an AM works driver. And who wouldn’t?
As you’d probably expect, there’s no word on how much this all costs. But there are more personalisation options yet to come, making the Valkyrie “One of the world’s most customisable cars,” Aston Martin says.
