Hero MotoCorp has announced the launch of the Destini 125 scooter. It is available in two variants – Lx and Vx priced at Rs. 54,650 and Rs. 57,500 (ex-showroom) respectively.
The Destini 125 measures 1,809 mm in length, 729 mm in width and 1,154 mm in height. It has a wheelbase of 1,245 mm and as a kerb weight of 111.5 kg.
The Destini 125 features a metal body with a V-shaped chrome insert at the front. It has triangular turn signals placed on the apron. The instrument cluster consists of an analogue speedometer and a digital readout with a service due reminder and side stand indicator. It comes with a large tail lamp cluster with integrated turn signals and a silver grab handle. The scooter has a side-mounted exhaust and a silver heat shield.
Hero offers features like an external fuel filler and remote key opening as standard. A dual-tone seat cover, body-coloured mirrors, chrome trim, alloy wheels, a mobile charging port and boot lamp are offered on the Vx variant.
The Destini 125 is powered by a 125cc, single-cylinder, air-cooled engine that produces 8.7 BHP @ 6,750 rpm and 10.2 Nm of torque @ 5,000 rpm. The engine is mated to a continuously variable transmission. The scooter also features Hero’s i3S idle start/stop system.
The Destini 125 comes with telescopic front suspension and a single coil spring at the rear. It has drum brakes at both ends and an Integrated Braking System.
The Hero Destini 125 is available in 4 colour options – Noble Red (Vx variant only), Chestnut Bronze, Panther Black and Pearl Silver White.
