Hero MotoCorp has removed Karizma and ZMR from its website. Instead, the 200cc bikes are now displayed as the flagship range of the bike maker.
It is possible that the company decided not to upgrade the Karizma for the upcoming BS6 emission norms. The bike was powered by a 223cc, SOHC engine developing 20 BHP @ 8,000 rpm and 19.7 Nm @ 6,500 rpm. The ZMR got the same engine, but was fuel injected.
The Karizma was launched in 2003. The bike received a minor upgrade in 2007 and the ZMR was launched in 2009. In 2010, the company split into Hero and Honda, with the former retaining the Karizma.
