The newest season in Forza Horizon 4 is well under way, but it appears that players have found potential upcoming content deep in the game’s code.
FH4 is no stranger to major leaks, with cars shown in the run up to launch last year. This latest leak also shows what could possibly be on the cards in future updates.
The leak takes the form of a list of files, bearing the name of a range of different cars. A first list posted on our forums throws up some rather curious cars embedded in FH4‘s code:
Interesting cars highlighted include the 1975 Citroen DS23, the 2017 Alpine A110, and a LEGO variant of the Bugatti Chiron. The Bugatti would be the fifth car from the LEGO Speed Champions range, joining the Porsche 911 Turbo that arrived several months ago.
One thing that does give us pause is a mis-spelling. Lurking near the bottom of the list is the Rolls-Royce Wraith, but its file is spelled “Wriath”. However, we’ve since received confirmation from a reliable, trusted source who wishes to remain anonymous, that this is just the tip of the iceberg. They’ve provided an even larger set of vehicle names buried in the files, which includes some of those above.

As well as including some modern circuit racers from British and World Touring Cars, there are also numerous other surprises in the list. Supercars such as the McLaren Speedtail and Zenvo TSR-S will please those looking for high performance monsters. Oddballs such as the Venturi Atlantique and Nissan Pulsar GTI-R should satisfy those looking for something different.
It is unclear if some of these models are leftover, redundant data, or whether there are plans to release any of the new cars further down the line. One brand curiously missing though is Toyota, recently confirmed to be returning to the franchise in December.
As with previous leaks, we’d advise taking this latest news with caution.
