The next generation Honda City has been unveiled in Thailand.
The new City is longer and wider than the outgoing model. However, the wheelbase has been shortened and the overall height of the car is also shorter than before.
The new City has a redesigned front fascia featuring a large chrome insert flanked by LED headlights. It has LED daytime running lights integrated into the headlights. The car has coupe-like roof line and at the rear, it gets wraparound tail lights. The RS variant gets a gloss black grille insert, black ORVMs and fog lamps.
On the inside, the new City comes with a 3-spoke multi-function steering wheel and a twin-dial instrument cluster. It has an 8-inch touchscreen infotainment head unit with air-vents on either side. It also comes with aluminium pedals.
In Thailand, the new City will be offered with a 1.0-litre turbocharged petrol engine producing 210 BHP and 173 Nm of torque. The engine will be mated to a 7-speed continuously variable transmission (CVT).
