Isuzu has released a teaser of the BS6 version of the D-Max V-Cross. The teaser says “Something mighty is one the way”, which indicates that the launch of the vehicle is nearing.
Just last week, the BS6 version of the Isuzu D-Max V-Cross was spotted at a dealership in Noida. The vehicle is likely to be powered by a 1.9-litre turbocharged diesel engine. It is expected to get all-wheel drive and a low-range gearbox option.
There are rumours that initially, only an automatic transmission variant of the pickup truck will go on sale. It will be available in rear-wheel drive and four-wheel drive configurations.
The four-wheel drive version will get part leather seats, ESP and hill descent control. The rear-wheel drive variant will not get these features. Both versions will get keyless entry.
The BS4 version of the V-Cross was powered by a 2.5-litre, 4-cylinder diesel engine that produced 134 BHP and 320 Nm. That engine has been discontinued.
