Jaguar Land Rover has announced that it has opened bookings of the Jaguar I-Pace electric SUV. The I-Pace, which will be Jaguar’s first electric car to go on sale in India, will be offered in three variants – S, SE and HSE.
The I-Pace is fitted a 90 kWh Lithium-ion battery and two electric motors that deliver 395 BHP. Jaguar claims that vehicle accelerates from 0-100 km/h in 4.8 seconds.
The Lithium-ion battery of the I-Pace comes with a warranty of 8 years or 1,60,000 km. Besides, the vehicle will come with a complimentary 5-year service package, 5-year Jaguar Roadside Assistance as well as a 7.4 kW AC wall mounted charger.
Jaguar Land Rover has tied-up with Tata Power to provide office and home charging solutions to customers of I-Pace. Tata Power as part of its ‘EZ Charge’ EV Charging network, has installed 200+ charging points in more than 23 cities across the country. These are present at locations like malls, restaurants, offices, residential complexes and along the highways. Jaguar customers will have access to this EV Charging network of Tata Power.
Deliveries of the I-Pace are expected to begin from March 2021.
