The KTM 390 Adventure has been spotted testing in India. The bike is based on the 390 Duke, but is designed for off-road riding.
The 390 Adventure features an upside-down fork suspension at the front and a monoshock suspension with longer travel at the rear. The spy images suggest that the bike is likely to get twin-pod LED headlights and a digital instrument cluster. It has a stepped seat with split grab handles and a single side-mounted exhaust. The test bike is equipped with an engine guard and has side crash protection as well. It is riding on black alloy wheels that are shod with off-road tyres. It has disc brakes at both ends and is equipped with dual-channel ABS.
The 390 Adventure is expected use the same 373.2cc, single-cylinder, liquid-cooled engine as the 390 Duke. The engine produces 43 BHP and 36 Nm of torque in the Duke and comes paired with a 6-speed gearbox. In the Adventure, it is expected to be tuned for off-road use.
The KTM 390 Adventure is expected to compete with the BMW G310 GS and Kawasaki Versys-X 300 in the Indian market.
