The Performante is 47 kg lighter than the standard Urus. It can accelerate from 0-100 km/h in 3.3 seconds and has a top speed of 306 km/h.
Lamborghini has launched the Urus Performante in India. The brand’s newest super SUV comes at a starting price of Rs 4.22 crore (ex-showroom).
The Urus Performante gets a few modifications over the standard car. For starters, the 4.0-litre twin-turbo V8 engine now produces 657 BHP and 850 Nm. As a result, the SUV can accelerate from 0-100 km/h in 3.3 seconds and has a top speed of 306 km/h.
Crucially, the Performante is 47 kg lighter than the standard Urus. This has been achieved with the use of lightweight materials like carbon fibre. The SUV gets a carbon bonnet as standard, while a carbon roof is available as an option.
Under the skin, the Urus Performante gets a revised suspension setup that uses coil springs instead of air springs. The car sits 20 mm lower and is slightly wider and longer than the standard model. It comes with a new ‘Rally’ mode, alongside the existing Strada, Sport and Corsa modes for better off-road handling.
