Japanese tuning company Liberty Walk, known for its extreme widebody kits applied to Supras, Lamborghinis and more, has unveiled a Nissan GT-R-inspired Daihatsu Copen.
The tiny Japanese kei car — a vehicle no larger than 11.2ft by 4.9ft, with an engine no bigger than 660cc — takes on a full Nissan GT-R look thanks to a widebody kit, badges, and redesigned components all around. For example, the front grille and daytime running lights all mimic Nissan’s model, while a new front splitter makes the car look as if it sits far lower to the ground in true supercar style.
Flared front and rear wheel arches flow down into an extended set of side skirts, which come together to neatly offset the new set of rims. At the rear, you’ll find a widened bumper, a quad-tip exhaust set-up, a spoiler, and a GT-R badge.
Despite all of the badging and wideness, the Copen is still very much a small city car. It is powered by a 658cc three-cylinder engine that produces 63 BHP and 91 Nm of torque.
