Maruti Suzuki has recalled 5,900 units of the Super Carry light commercial vehicle (LCV) for a possible fuel filter defect.
Vehicles manufactured between April 26, 2018 and August 1, 2018 have been affected by this recall. This also includes vehicles in which the fuel filter has been replaced during this period.
Owners of the vehicles suspected to have this defect will be contacted by Maruti Suzuki dealers starting December 26, 2018. The affected vehicles will be inspected and the faulty part will be replaced free of cost.
A customer can check if his vehicle is among those recalled by entering its 17-digit chassis number at this link.
