Rumour suggest that Maruti might also introduce a 7-seater variant of the XL6.
Besides the 2022 Vitara Brezza, Maruti Suzuki is also working on the XL6 facelift. The MPV was recently spotted testing in Haryana.
The XL6 facelift is expected to get minor exterior updates, including LED headlamps, new bumpers and alloy wheels. On the inside, the MPV could come with new upholstery and an updated touchscreen Smartplay Studio infotainment system.
The XL6 facelift will be mechanically identical to the outgoing version. It is likely to use the same 1.5-litre mild-hybrid petrol engine that produces 103 BHP and 138 Nm. At present, the engine comes mated to either a 5-speed manual or a 4-speed automatic transmission.
Rumour suggest that Maruti might also introduce a 7-seater variant of the XL6. At present, the MPV comes in a 6-seat configuration with captain seats for the second row.
