In 2017, Maruti Suzuki announced that its sales outlets would be rebranded as Maruti Suzuki Arena. The company has now announced that it has opened 745 such outlets across the country in 3 years.
According to Mr. Shashank Srivastava, Executive Director Marketing & Sales, the Arena dealerships were launched to meet the expectations of a young audience.
The showrooms feature interactive touchscreens and a personalisation zone, where customers are able to mix and match accessories and configure their vehicles. The showrooms also have a cafe & a consultation area along with an owners’ lounge. Relationship managers are equipped with tablets preloaded with an app for customers to browse and compare different models and variants. Customers can also book or customize their vehicles through i-Create.
At present, Maruti Suzuki has over 2,300 sales outlets, out of which 745 are Arenas. Models like the Alto, S-Presso, WagonR, Celerio, CelerioX, Swift, Dzire, Vitara Brezza and Ertiga are sold through Arena dealerships.
