Mercedes-Benz will unveil the new CLA tomorrow, but we already have a good idea of what it will look like thanks to this teaser video. Here, the automaker shows off the front and rear of the vehicle, plus a bit of the interior.
The video starts off revealing an “Edition” badge, hinting at a special edition version of the model. Next, we see the car’s taillights. The Mercedes badge sits prominently between these two lights, unlike on the current CLA, which has a smaller badge sitting higher up on the trunk. As we’ve seen on camouflaged prototypes of the CLA, the interior features a large screen borrowed from the A-Class. This screen doubles as an instrument cluster and central infotainment screen.
The video concludes by showing a close-up of the model’s front end. We notice the headlights look different from the wedge-shaped lights of the A-Class and CLS. The front grille may feature a similar design to these cars, but we can’t get a good feel from this video. It looks like this particular vehicle doesn’t feature the AMG Panamericana grille we saw on an earlier prototype. There are some orange accents on the front end, as well as on the wheels, matching the accents seen in the interior.
The Mercedes-Benz CLA will debut at CES on January 8. Stay tuned for more info here.
