Mercedes-Benz has released sales figures for the first quarter of 2019. The carmaker sold 3,885 units during the period of January-March 2019 compared to 4,556 units in the previous year.
According to the company, demand for the long wheelbase E-Class, C-Class, GLC and GLE contributed to the sales volume. In March 2019, Mercedes saw record sales of the long wheelbase E-Class and C-Class models. Demand for the V-Class premium MPV has also been strong.
The AMG and Dream Cars segment saw the highest growth in Q1 2019. The segment grew by more than 50% compared to the same period last year.
