MG has launched Hector Plus 3-row SUV in India. It is available in four trims with prices starting at Rs. 13,48,800 (ex-showroom).
The Hector Plus based on the regular Hector, but comes with 3 rows of seats and captain seats in the second row. The SUV gets subtle styling changes which include redesigned front and rear bumpers, reworked headlamp clusters and a new grille. It gets an updated rear fascia and faux chrome exhaust tips.
On the inside, the Hector Plus comes with a 10.4-inch touchscreen infotainment head-unit that has Apple CarPlay and Android Auto connectivity, ambient lighting, a panoramic sunroof, hands-free tail gate, heated ORVMs and powered front seats. Safety features include 6 airbags, ABS, ESC, hill-hold assist, traction control, tyre pressure monitoring system and a 360-degree camera.
The Hector Plus is available with three engine options. These include a 2.0-litre diesel engine that makes 168 BHP and 350 Nm, which is paired with a 6-speed manual transmission, a 1.5-litre, turbo-petrol engine producing 141 BHP and 250 Nm mated to 6-speed DCT as well as a 1.5-litre mild-hybrid powertrain that is available with a 6-speed manual gearbox.
