Former Indian Cricket captain, MS Dhoni, is a HUGE petrolhead, and has a tasteful collection of cars and motorbikes. You will find lots of SUVs in his garage, and also a wide variety of classic and modern motorbikes. Some reports say that he has more than 100 bikes in his collection. In fact, Dhoni even has a 2-storey museum dedicated to his 2-wheeler collection. The vehicles are not garage queens either. He is often seen riding many of his bikes as well as driving his cars.
Dhoni’s car collection includes the Jeep Grand Cherokee Trackhawk with a 6.2-litre V8 engine from the Dodge Hellcat twins. This engine makes upto 707 BHP and 875 Nm. He has a Nissan 4W73, popularly known as the Jonga 1 Ton, which is said to have belonged to the Indian Army and is now restored. Dhoni also has a Hummer H2 that he has taken to a few cricket matches – it also impressed the New Zealand cricketers! A Mahindra Scorpio, modified by Mahindra with no roof and four captain seats along with ‘MS’ lettering on the inside and outside also shares garage space. Other cars include a classic dual-tone Rolls-Royce Silver Shadow Series 1, first-gen Audi Q7, Mercedes-Benz GLE, Land Rover Freelander 2, Mitsubishi Pajero SFX and the Hindustan Ambassador.
Dhoni’s bike collection is even more impressive. He has a Confederate Hellcat X132 which is the star of his bike collection and he is said to be the only person from South-East Asia to own one. A BSA Gold Star, which was one of the fastest bikes of the 1950s, is also a part of his collection. All owners of this hand-built bike got a documented dynamometer test result from the company. One of Dhoni’s favourite bikes is the Yamaha RD350. He owns a number of RD350s and the exact figure is not known. A TVS Apache RTR 300 FX dirt bike that was gifted to him by TVS and a Suzuki Shogun that he claims is the most exciting single cylinder 2-stroke bike are also housed in his garage. Some of the other bikes in his collection include Kawasaki Ninja H2, Harley-Davidson Fat Boy, Kawasaki Ninja ZX-14R, Yamaha Thundercat, TVS Apache RR 310 and a Norton Jubilee 250. He also has a Rajdoot which is said to be one of his first bikes.
Along with the cars and bikes, Dhoni also has a four-wheel drive Mahindra Swaraj 963 FE Tractor that he bought for use in his farmhouse.
