Kawasaki has launched the 2019 KLX140G dirt bike in India. It is priced at Rs. 4,06,600 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi).
The KLX140G is based on high-tensile steel frame and measures 2,005 mm in length, 790 mm in width and 1,135 mm in height. It has a wheelbase of 1,330 mm and a kerb weight of 99 kg. It comes with a 5.8-litre fuel tank.
While the KLX140G gets new graphics, Kawasaki hasn’t made any significant mechanical changes to the bike. It is powered by a 144cc, single-cylinder, air-cooled engine that is mated to a 5-speed transmission.
The KLX140G has a 33 mm telescopic fork suspension at the front offering 190 mm of travel and an adjustable monoshock at the rear with 200 mm of wheel travel. Stopping power comes from of a single 220 mm petal type disc brake at the front with dual-piston caliper and a 190 mm disc brake at the rear with a single-piston caliper.
