The next-generation Audi A6 Allroad has been spied during its winter testing programme, ahead of its official launch
The new Audi A6 Allroad has been caught on camera again, this time in an environment more suited to its pseudo-SUV credentials. Spied here during its winter testing programme, it’ll rival the Volvo V90 Cross Country and replace the current A6 Allroad when it launches early in 2019.
This latest test mule gives us a much better idea of how the showroom model will look; only the ‘Allroad’ additions remaining camouflaged, while the raised ride height, wider bumpers, flared wheel arches and chunky sills are clear to see.

Little else has changed over the Audi A6 Avant, with the grille, LED headlights and raised roofline all being transferred from the standard car.
The steeply-raked screen and practical estate body are almost identical to the A6 Avant, while at the rear it seems to carry the standard car’s tail-lights and boot-lid without alteration.
The interior will be also copied from the saloon and estate models, with the company’s Virtual Cockpit dials and dual-screen infotainment system fitted as standard. Expect best-in-class build quality and all the latest comfort, convenience and technology features.
We’ll have more information on the new Audi A6 Allroad later in the year, ahead of the car’s launch early in 2019.
