The new Citroen C1 Urban Ride city car arrives with a range of exterior add-ons and a handful of interior customisation options
Citroen has released an updated version of the C1 Urban Ride special edition. Like the previous variant, it adds a range of exterior styling updates and selection of interior customisation options to the five-door C1. Prices for the new model start from £13,180, with first deliveries expected by June this year.
Exterior revisions for the new Citroen C1 Urban Ride include a set of black 15-inch alloy wheels, flared matt-black wheelarches and a choice of either Scarlet Red or Lipizzan White body colours as standard. For an extra £930, buyers can also spec Citroen’s ‘Airscape’ body style, which adds an electric sliding soft-top.

Inside, the C1 special edition receives a set of ‘Urban Ride’ branded floor mats, redesigned two-tone upholstery with red stitching, a unique dashboard decal, a white facia plate for the infotainment system and dash, and black trim for the gearlever surround and air vents.
As it’s based on Citroen’s range-topping ‘Shine’ trim level, the C1 Urban Ride also comes with a reversing camera, electrically adjustable and heated door mirrors, a four-speaker stereo and a seven-inch infotainment system with support for Apple CarPlay and Android Auto.
The only engine available for the C1 Urban Ride is Citroen’s 1.0-litre three-cylinder petrol unit, with 70bhp and 93Nm of torque. It feeds its power to the front wheels via a five-speed manual gearbox, offering a 0-62mph time of 12.6 seconds, claimed economy figures of 53.2mpg and CO2 emissions of 93g/km.
Optional extras include metallic paint, automatic air-conditioning, automatic headlights, plus keyless entry and start. Also available is Citroen’s Active City Brake, which comes as a package with lane-departure warning and traffic-sign recognition systems.
