A rare 1989 Mercedes-Benz 560 SEC AMG 6.0 Wide-body will be going to the winner of an upcoming RM Sotheby’s auction.
Only 50 vehicles of this particular model have ever been produced. The model is a modification released 32 years ago before AMG was acquired by Mercedes-Benz. It features a six-liter M117 V8 engine crankshaft, four-piston front brake calipers, and four Bilstein shock absorbers. Its vintage Bridgestone Potenza tires, hand-made fenders, side skirts and front bumper spoiler have been kept significantly intact, details sure to transport any fan of retro vehicles to the ’80s. Beyond these features, the model also comes with more nuanced interiors like a three-piece 17-inch Momo M38 steering wheel, a white AMG dashboard, premium buffalo leather around the door and other sleek designs. The vehicle packs 385 horsepower and only has 56,171 miles on the dash.
